What does a corporate trainer for Pilot do?


Pilot is looking for a Corporate Trainer for our Mobile, AL campus.  This position is responsible for training new hires on how to handle claims for our clients.  This includes customer success training, systems training in Xactimate and CC1, and propitiatory client programs and policies.  We will train the individual selected on the systems and policies. 


We are looking for someone that has either corporate training experience, or an experienced teacher (High School and above preferred).  They will maintain and update the training materials and appropriate programming to support the business unit and their training needs.

This position requires a high level of communication skills, accountability, resourcefulness, and the ability to partner with multiple levels of leadership throughout the operation to deliver a successful training program. 


This position also requires a comprehensive understanding of adult learning principles and operational coaching best practices to ensure the application of effective training through operational implementation, including observation and feedback sessions with students and leadership.


What you will need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in education or Training/Development and at least 5 years’ experience in the classroom or delivery of training materials


  • Ability to facilitate classroom experiences through a variety of modalities including synchronous and asynchronous sessions, in-person, virtual, eLearning and mobile delivery leveraging tools and technology as appropriate.


  • Ability to build and curate content and curriculum.


  • Ability to interview and translate Subject Matter Expertise into career development paths.


  • Proven operational management / leadership experience preferred.


  • Ability to manage and implement multiple projects using project management tools/skills preferred.


  • The ability to for and implement solutions that improve performance is required.


  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite
